Meet the Team
Dr. Guerdan
Medical Director
Dr. Guerdan, with over 20 years of experience, began his medical career in 2000 at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. A U.S. Army Reservist and Officer’s Advanced Course graduate, he also completed clinical rotations with renowned cardiologist Dr. Ellis in Pittsburgh.
In 2021, he became the Medical Director and Chief Anesthesiologist/Pain Physician at United Ortho and Spine in Atlanta, overseeing a state-of-the-art surgery and pain center. His multi-disciplinary approach integrates chiropractic care, physical therapy, interventional procedures, and mental health support.
Dr. Guerdan’s journey, which began with volunteering at Ft. Lyon VA, spans decades of dedication to helping others. His vast experience includes roles as a nurse, nurse anesthetist, medical doctor, and pain management specialist. He takes immense pride in his ability to provide comprehensive care for those suffering from severe pain and debilitating injuries.
Sheraz Mehdi
Clinical and Business Director
Sheraz Mehdi brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical management, and revenue cycle strategy, with a focus on personal injury-based pain management. His extensive background includes expertise in orthopedic practices, billing systems, medical transportation, and practice development across the metro Atlanta area.
With a deep understanding of the personal injury process, from patient intake to case closure, Sheraz is dedicated to fostering strong collaborations with legal teams, streamlining care coordination, and delivering outcome-focused treatments for patients recovering from auto accidents, slip and fall injuries, dog bites, and work-related incidents.
As the Clinical and Business Director at Spine Muscle and Joint, Sheraz is passionate about ensuring efficient, compassionate, and litigation-ready care at all four of the clinic’s Georgia locations.
